Dillaran grew up on the hard streets of the Iron City, Pittsburgh PA. Being the son of an Iron Worker meant he would enter the acting profession from a different world than most of his peers. Dillaran's first interaction with an audience was on a high school wrestling mat where he discovered his ability to propel an audience into a frenzy while at the same time scaring his opponents half to death. High school auditoriums were packed when he was wrestling. They didn't come for the match, they came to see him. Dillaran's engineering skills brought him to Los Angeles where he helped design the Metrolink control system. His evenings and weekends were spent on movie sets where he sharpened his acting skills and learned the art of making movies. His most recent credits include working opposite John C. Rielly on the TV Show "Check It Out!" and playing a troubled bank employee on the hit series "1,000 Ways To Die." He was also given a lead acting role in the film "Darkness Peering" which is scheduled for release fall 2012. He also played a drug addict in a music video by Dex Sanders, and performed in a Rolling Stone featured music video from the group UMO. Dillaran is truly a hidden Gem in the acting community.
