www.chrisdistaulo.com - Chris Di Staulo's first video camera weighed almost as much as he did. It was big, clunky, and it gave him his first thrill of creating from behind the camera. When he inevitably dropped it, the fury, astonishment, and string of curse words out of his Mother's mouth was a new, exhilarating experience which set him on a path to seek bigger and more extreme reactions from his audience. Inspired, Chris applied to film school. He promptly received four rejection letters. With nowhere else to turn, he cut his teeth working in production. With some persuasion, persistence and circumstances which his lawyer advises against disclosing, Chris received a Bachelor of Arts (Specialized Honours) degree in Directing from York University. Chris has since spent more than a decade honing his craft, receiving awards at Palm Springs International Film Festival, Canada International Film Festival, Cannes International Film Festival Court Métrage, and many more. He takes great pride in every project he tackles and works with his clients to exceed their expectations. It really all comes down to a story that is believable and well-told. Chris can take a concept and put it through his own unique filter to help craft an elevated outcome for your brand. Chris is a member in good standing of the Directors Rights Collective of Canada, Raindance, and the National Film Board of Canada.
