Jules Forsberg-Lary is a New York based actress originally from Warwick, Rhode Island. She began performing at a young age, singing in her mother's church and discovered the stage shortly thereafter. Her first role was as: "Elderly Man," which she convincingly tackled at the ripe age of 8. Jules grew up in a musical household with her dad and brother playing multiple instruments, and all of her siblings singing. It came as no surprise when she took up the guitar herself in high school. She dove into singing and songwriting and, with the help of her brother, even recorded her own CD of all original songs before graduating from the 12th grade. Jules then attended Boston College to continue her study of acting, and took on a work study job as a seamstress in the Costume Shop. It was here that she developed a love and talent for both costume and makeup design and applied these abilities costume designing 6 shows and makeup designing more than 10. Her favorite type of makeup design is disaster makeup. Her sophomore year, Jules discovered an affinity for rapping when she joined an R&B and soul a cappella group. Shortly after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre, Jules moved to New York. She was immediately invited to study at the William Esper Studio and has now completed the Two Year Meisner-based Acting Program under Barbara Marchant, as well as Scene Study (also under Barbara Marchant,) and the Audition Workshop (under Deb Jackal). Jules' biggest acting accomplishments include: co-writing, co-producing & costarring in her own pilot entitled "Tiny for Two," and winning 4 awards at the Watermelon One Act Festival for a play she co-wrote and costarred in entitled "The Ticking Clock." And her biggest ambitions include: working with Joss Whedon, becoming BFF's with Ellen DeGeneres, and speaking in a panel at comic con about a film she co-wrote and starred in.
