Chantelle Landais is a writer, producer and actress who plays 'Dora' in the comedy series 'ALPHA HIPPIE' (2017) which she independently wrote and produced with friend Shannon Morton in Topanga Canyon, California. Landais won the award for Best Director for the 'ALPHA HIPPIE' trailer at IFS film Festival in May 2019. Landais was born in Auckland, New Zealand, where she developed a love for film growing up in her father Neil's photography studio. She moved to Los Angeles shortly after graduating from Auckland University of Technology with a Master's degree in Communication Studies, and started her production company 'Twelfth Star Enterprises, Inc'. Landais is currently producing the upcoming independent comedy feature film, ' Playa' : A Horrible Tale of Female Revenge.' Developed in 2018, Playa' is the fifth comedy written by Landais.
