Growing up watching the "Rocky" movies and others such as "The Ghost and the Darkness", "Braveheart", and "The Patriot", Tyler Belcik knew the entertainment industry is where he wanted to end up one day. After graduating from Memorial High School in 2006 in Victoria, Texas, Tyler continued his education at the University of Houston-Victoria with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management. Simultaneously, he also began pursuing his dream, acting. In 2009 Tyler signed with the Page Parkes Agency in Houston where he began his initial training for acting and modeling. Throughout this time he gained experience in acting in several independent films as well as local church productions. The real thrill came when auditioning for major Hollywood movies such as the epic super hero space film "Green Lantern", "Friday Night Lights (TV Series)", and the super hero comedy "Super". After his contract with Page Parkes ended in 2010, he went on to work in other Hollywood films in the Louisiana area. This included working as an actor's stand-in for the Universal Picture's "Battleship" (due to release in May of 2012). Working side by side with "True Blood" star actor Alexander Skarsgard and production crew members proved to give Tyler invaluable hands on experience in a Hollywood production. The future looks bright for Tyler Belcik. Upcoming plans include a move to Los Angeles, California in early 2012 which will position him even better to master his acting skills as well as lead to more auditioning opportunities.
