Steve Mitchell

An actor rising in exposure on the Canadian scene, Steve Mitchell is also a passionate writer and director. After delighting viewers with his arch comedy short Always Sideways at the 2012 Mississauga Independent Film Festival, he has gone on to pen the feature-length family comedy-drama "The Last Days Of Lucky Dragon". His upcoming short "Half-Naked" seems set to have an even greater impact than his debut short. He is the son of a hard-working furniture salesman and a stay-at-home mom, he was born steps from the Atlantic Ocean in Nova Scotia and grew up in southern Ontario. He lives in Toronto with his wife and two daughters.
