Born in Toledo, Ohio and has a PhD in Geography specializing in Natural Hazards and specifically Tornado Ecology. He was a Storm Chaser for 10 or so years at National Severe Storms Lab and National Geographic as well as some local TV stations. He has storms chased and is interested in geography of the Great Plains and Midwest. He was written about in Mark Svenvold's "Big Weather" and in Tom Grazulis' "The Tornado". He has been in non-fiction works on tornadoes in the Great Plains and has studied contemporary tornadoes including 1998 Birmingham, AL, 1999 Bridge Creek - OKC and the tornadoes a few years ago at Tuscaloosa - Birmingham and Moore, OK. He lives in Norman, Oklahoma and he works for University of Oklahoma. By: Biddle
