Olimpia Stavarache

Olimpia Stavarache, director, screenwriter, film producer, founding member, holder and administrator of S.C. COLUMNA CINEMA S.R.L.. Olimpia Stavarache is 43 years old, lives in Bragadiru, Ilfov County, Romania. Here's Mrs. Stavarache's résumé: "I graduated "Matei Basarab" High School in the year of 1995, then I considered it's a priority for me to establish a family. After the marriage (16 October 1995), it followed the birth of the first child, Yvonne Stavarache (23 July 1996), and the adoption of the second child, Marco Stavarache (28 February 2001). In parallel, through my effort and enjoying the unconditional support of the spouse, Mihail Alexandru Stavarache, I continued the studies in order to develop professionally. In the year of 2007, I supported the Bachelor's degree and graduated Faculty of Communication and Public relations "David Ogilvy"- National School of Political and Administrative Sciences, under the guidance of Professor Doctor Gheorghe Teodorof, with specialization in political sciences, journalism and publicity. For a short period I worked as a budgetary, on the function of the Police Department reviewer 21-The office records the person, then in the administrative field, as a Public servant, in the Office of Organizing Events and Drafting Advertising Materials at the City Hall of district 6. But my wish was to do something on my own, so I resigned and started my training in the field of interest, so that in 2012 I graduated as head of promotion, "Faculty of Arts", Film and Television Directing, in the "Hyperion University", under the guidance of Professor Ioan Carmazan, specialization of the Art of FILM, theatre history and art history. In the year 2014, I obtained a Master's degree with the specialization of Dramaturgy and screenwriting, in the same institute. In parallel, in the year 2010, I founded the Film Society Columna Cinema. All this time I have produced five independent films with which I have achieved notable results, both at national and international level. In the year 2009, with the first film made in the first semester of school, "Rahela" (short-film), to which I was a screenwriter, director and producer, I obtained special mention, granted by the European Institute of Culture for Communication, knowledge and education through Image, by the "Romanian Film Clubs Association", within "Inter Hyperion Stud Art & Young Independent Film Festival" (President of the festival: Mr. Geo Saizescu, President of the jury: Mr. Calin Caliman). In 2010, with "A Legendary Champion, Marin Mustata" (medium-film, documentary), to which I also was screenwriter, director, producer, I obtained the award given by the "Lumiere Artists" and the National center of Cinema through the Council of the county Galati, the lower Danube Cultural Center (Festival Director: Mr. Ionut Popa, President of the festival: Mr. Eugen Chebac, President of the jury: Ms. Clara Margineanu). The degree film, "The Game" (long-film, drama), made by me in the year 2012, as a screenwriter, director, producer, was selected at the Constanta National Film Festival in the "Professionals" section. Premiered at the Cinema Scala, on 12.12.2012, and participated in the opening of the "Havana Film Festival" in Cuba on 1 December 2012. The film "Gloria" (medium-film, drama), made in the year 2018, which I was co-screenwriter, director and co-producer, premiered on the 14th. June. 2018, at CinemaPro. On May 16, 2019, the film "Gloria" was featured in "Investing in Art & the Art of Investing", Romanian Entrepreneurs (REN) Network Events, La Chambre de Comme, Luxembourg. On June 20, 2019, my literary debut was held, with the Tripticum "Steam", signed Ioan Carmazan, Olimpia Stavarache, which is part of the volume "Cartea cu scenarii" (University publishing House). The launch was hosted by the National Museum of Romanian Literature. Then followed the post production of my independent long-feature movie, "Night Stalkers" - with incursions in the Romanian collective mentality and tradition.
