Deborah J. Watson was born in Ft. Scott, Ks to Jean (Rudiger) Wright, special education teacher, and John Wright, A Baptist Pastor. She was raised in Garnett, Ks. were she participated in band, show choir, and theater. She grew up small town with big dreams and made her way to Kansas State University where she studied business management and explored other artistic mediums. After moving to St. Louis, Mo., she wrote, directed and produced stage production "Daughter, Come Receive Your Crown", toured with "Spoken For", and performed "Whom Shall I Fear" at Forest Park. She also helped train others how to write, produce and direct. "The Garden of Life I & II" and "Take back the ground". Together with her husband Michael, they utilized "Story" to inspire and influence people in the Philippines, South America and the United States. In 2006, she began the transition from stage production to film. After her education and move to Branson, Mo. (2010), she developed Studio 2.22 Film productions L.L.C.(2015), and the Branson International Film Festival(2017). She also travels and speaks with Impact 22, an organization committed to helping encourage people on how to cope with post trauma situations. "I believe that people are destroyed due to a lack of knowledge. We are given this life to live and have the freedom of choice on how to live it. I choose to live it intentionally on a great adventure with faith, hope and love."
