Sylvia Kleoniki

Sylvia Sakellaridis is a multilingual international actress best known for her charisma, versatility, and enduring hard work ethic. She was born in Vermont and raised between Greece and the small town of Treviso, Italy, before studying in Rome where she cultivated her wide-ranging acting chops in the Italian cinema. She landed her silver screen debut in Warner Bros' Italian-language comedy 'Studio Illegale' alongside Italian superstar Fabio Volo. Her follow-up was a leading role in a music video directed by Giulio Cangiano, who's film 'The Great Beauty' won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Film in 2015. She then became one of the faces for Vodafone's national commercial campaign directed by the Venice Film Festival's Young Cinema Award winning director, Giuseppe Capotondi. With Hollywood in her sights, she moved from Rome to Los Angeles and quickly became the face of multiple national commercial campaigns for some of the biggest brands of the day. These include Disney, Facebook, Chevrolet, Galbani Cheese, and Lavazza Coffee. Her recent films include 'Surrender Dorothy', a dramedy on Amazon from Emmy Award winning producer Gina M. Britton, as well as the avant-garde indie drama 'Panopticon', which was recently nominated for Best Feature at the Portland Film Festival and is also distributed by Amazon. In addition to being an actor and black belt in Karate, Sakellaridis has devoted much of her time to giving back to local communities. As an enthusiastic member of the Sokka Gakkai International Association worldwide Buddhist network, she has actively worked with local schools and progressive collectives to promote peace, culture and education. Her next immediate goals include landing a Marvel series, leading an award-winning Dramedy at a top film festival, and cooking delicious Italian-Greek salads for her next crew.
