Meg Halski

I'm a director, producer, and writer specializing in narrative and documentary production. I create elevated stories that inspire people to explore possibilities, expand in beauty, live out fantasies, adventures, & even dharma. I've worked with hall of famers, pro-athletes, global passion brands, sag actors, environmental causes, musicians, start ups, artists & everyday people to create stories that move the world. I have created a lot of commercials that don't feel like advertising and a lot of narrative music videos, television, features and shorts that blur the line of what's real by employing high production value and a dash of WTF. I find and work with the best talent, creatives, cinematographers and crew on the planet, all over the world. Being a friend and ally to my teammates is everything to me. I take pride in creating meaningful environments where we work hard and play hard, where everyone has the opportunity to flex in their flow states and wrap productions in a meaningful way. My career in content creation has evolved over 20 years and I love all of it! Background: I started in the business in 2002 as a film student and PA for the Discovery Health Channel series at the dawn of the "docu series", meaning I started at the bottom and had to get my chops busted. In 2003, for my senior project, I directed The Bunglers, a feature length heist movie shot on the streets of downtown St. Louis. The film debuted at the St. Louis Film Festival in 2004. For several years after film school I worked as a creative marketing consultant working with high level executives and brands during the birth and evolution of social media and influencer videos. Since 2014, I have been a freelance producer, director and writer creating the best work in my portfolio. Throughout my career, I've learned that producing comes fairly easy to me, directing narratives and writing compelling scripts are what I'm most passionate about and that together there is no ceiling to what I can do. In 2022, I produced and directed over 40 projects and traveled the world. When I'm not on the road, I love writing and developing film/TV scripts and concepts, then building out a team, finding the budget and producing it all the way through post. I believe whole heartedly in creative collaboration but also know how to lead teams towards the bottom line on time & on budget while keeping it light and FUN on set. I wrote a narrative ensemble series for Michael Fassbender, Minnie Driver, and Naomi Watts and I hope to produce it for a larger audience in the next two years. I'm also working on a drag show musical inspired by the music of the Carpenters. Looking forward to the process of getting these launched!
