Uzair Merchant

A kreativ junkie and spiritual traveler, Uzair is a multiple award winning filmmaker, designer, and the founder of bkreativ productions based in Vancouver, BC and the co-founder of Kri8.labs - The Kreativ Lab - in Vancouver, Dubai and Delhi. An alumni of Nottingham Trent university, and the New York Film Academy, "Uzi" is a product of the world; with Indian roots, he's raised in Dubai, which followed with him living in London, New York and is currently a resident of Vancouver. With 11 years in the film business in various countries and projects ranging from features : (The misfits (2021), Deadpool 2, Star trek beyond, Fast and furious 7, Skyfall), TV series (BBC, Sesame street & commercials (Cadillac, McDonalds, 7Up, UAE expo film 2015, VW, Dubai civil aviation etc). He has also production designed for the worlds largest cultural theme park : Global Village in Dubai for over 6 years, winning best pavilion award. his last short 'Chasing lines' has won him 14 awards '' from Los angles film awards , New York Film awards and many more international festivals, getting him featured as an alumni by the new York film academy and Nottingham Trent university. He also Production Designed the first Hollywood feature film shot in Abu Dhabi, directed by action legend - Renny Harlin. 'The misfits' with an A list cast : starring Pierce Brosnan, Jamie Chung, Nick Canon, Tim Roth, Hermione Corfield, Mike Angelo & Rami Jaber is an action heist adventure film. His feature script 'The 8th Sin' won an honourable mention for Best Sci-fi script in 2019 at the Los Angeles film awards. In 2020 Uzair has won 6 international screenplay awards in multiple categories such as best action screenplay and best sci fi screenplay at the los angles film awards, top shorts and a few others for his latest TV series - Black Rose - now in pre production. Uzair is finishing working on 'the CW''s latest blockbuster franchise : Superman & Lois up in Vancouver, released on feb 2021.
