Born the second of three children in Ft Worth, TX, Cait's family moved all over the US and the UK for the majority of her childhood, eventually settling in Oklahoma where she finished her primary education. Cait started in the performing arts at the age of six, with her first Theater experience as the title role of Goldibraids, an adaptation of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Her Theater career has landed her leading roles in productions by Niel Simon, Shakespeare, and David Mamet, among others. Being an autodidact by nature, Cait learned to hone her craft by taking on new and interesting roles within the Theater and Independent Film industry. Looking to broaden her horizons as an actor, she attended film school where she expanded on her passion for storytelling behind the camera. Cait earned a degree in Film and Video Production in 2013, graduating with honors. In 2015, Cait worked alongside Francis Ford Coppola during his first "proof of concept" for Live Cinema, called Distant Vision. On this project, she worked as both a documentarian (Live Cinema Workshop, 2017) and an actor. Since her mentor-ship under Coppola, she has continued acting, writing, directing, and editing. A favorite pet project being an original web series on YouTube called P(r)etty Girls; The 'R' Is Silent. Cait has collectively worked on hundreds of projects ranging from feature-length narrative and documentary films to music videos, commercials, and non-profit videos since 2008. In 2017 she wrote, shot, directed and edited a short film as part of an independent anthology film titled MONO, which raised over two thousand dollars for charity at its premiere screening in January of 2018. In 2018, Cait spent months behind the camera on several Lifetime productions, before being cast in the feature-length action film Robot Riot. Cait is also a singer, songwriter, musician, and artist.
