Vadim was borne in Kharkov, Ukraine, but he emigrated to Vancouver, Canada in 1994 with his parents. He started to dance at the age of 7, soon becoming Canadian as well as Ukrainian Junior and Youth Champion in Latin and Ballroom dancing. in 2004 he relocated to Vienna, Austria, where he started a successful career as dancer and trainer together with his new partner, Kathrin Menzinger. In 2006 he won the Austrian Championship in 10 Dance ( =Latin and Ballroom), and could also reach the Semifinal of the World Championship in 10 Dance. In 2011 they both started their TV-career by starring in the Austrian version of "Dancing with the Stars" as professional dancers. Vadim teamed up with Alfons Haider, a well known Austrian actor and TV-moderator. They were the first ever "male" couple in this worldwide TV-format, and therefore reached great popularity throughout Austria and beyond. In 2012 he won the 7th season of "Dancing Stars" with Petra Frey, a very popular Austrian singer. In the same year he started his career as a choreographer, again teaming up with his Dance Partner Kathrin Menzinger , and starting with the musical adaption of " The taming of the shrew" for the Filmhof Wein4tel and the Viennese Metropol. 2013 followed another Musical, this time it was the world premiere of the Musical Adaption of the famous Danny Kaye movie "The Court Jester", again for the Viennese Metropol. Another Highlight of his career was the participation in the 2014 edition of the Viennese Phlharmonic orchestras "New Years Concert", where he and Kathrin Menzinger performed the " Blue Danube Waltz" live at the Viennese Musikverein, broad-casted in 100 countries worldwide to an audience of over 50 Million TV-Viewers.
