Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. Diana had a passion for horses and began riding at the early age of seven. She competed in Rodeos and quickly moved on to showing and breeding Quarter Horses. Diana also had an adventurous spirit and loved to ride her "Fox" motorcycle and shoot her rifle. By 19 Diana's only culinary expertise was boiling an egg. When she was in college she lived solely off of yogurt and rice. While getting her degree in Nursing, Diana met some friends of Middle Eastern descent and the world she once knew exploded into a desire to learn more about exotic cultures and cuisines. She engulfed herself in research, cooking and learning from anyone of Middle Eastern descent. Even though Las Vegas had little to no ethnic food restaurants at that time, it didn't stop Diana, she would travel to Los Angeles with empty coolers in search of new spices and dishes to bring back home. Diana discovered that Nursing was not her true calling and started a career in Medical Sales. Still not satisfied with her career choice, Diana felt it was finally time to leave Las Vegas and explore other areas. Her first move was Hawaii. It was the perfect place to experience new and exotic cuisines of the south pacific. She began expanding her love for food and once again immersed herself in the culture and cuisine. She then went to explore the southwest by moving to Tucson, Arizona. She dove deeply into the Tex/Mex style of cooking and continued to explore the rural areas for unique spices and recipes. Next stop, Hotlanta! Where she spent two years indulging in southern cuisine. From fried green tomatoes to creole, nothing was off limits. She then ventured to Westport, CT, home to culinary queen Martha Stewart and continued to explore the cuisines of New York, Connecticut, New Jersey and Boston. Diana returned to Las Vegas and after several years in the corporate world destiny was calling. She finally embarked on a long awaited 2 year culinary journey, exploring modern and exotic countries such as Africa, England, Ireland, Greece, Turkey, France, Italy and China. Diana dove deeply into the culture, history and cuisines of the world she was discovering, earning her the title of "Spice Queen". Over the past several years Diana has teamed up with her "partner in crime" and best friend Angelina Altishin to produce a travel cooking show concept, A & D Adventures, the two auditioned and appeared on the Gordon Ramsey Cook Along Live show together. They appeared on Fox Now local news and are currently developing a show concept for a wacky AB Fab meets Anthony Bourdain cooking travel adventure show (or should we say MissAdventure show). Diana recently spent 2 months in Italy and Malta exploring the local markets, cuisine and culture of the regions. While in Sicily she attended the prestigious 2010 Cous Cous Festival in San Vito Lo Capo, learning the age old secrets of Tunisia cous cous. Now she is ready to share her exciting experiences with you.
