Azwan Badruzaman

Azwan is a filmmaker, actor & composer from Amherst, MA residing in Los Angeles, CA. A highly prolific creator, Azwan has produced and acted in short films, skits, commercials and music videos. As an editor Azwan has worked on many shows for the NBCU Digital Lab including: What the Fashion, Face Forward, Cospets, Premiere League, Maker Knows Best, The Rewind, The Rundown, as well as marketing videos for social platforms. Work affiliations include E! News, Netflix, SYFY, Snapchat, Grammy's, Emmy's and Quibi. Azwan has completed his first festival ready short film "Reason for Leaving" which he directed, acted in, edited and composed. From a young age Azwan was introduced to the local public access station, Amherst Media where he utilized his skills to express his feverish imagination. Azwan took a deep dive into a music career, creating many music videos for his own materials as well as local groups. He eventually took a leap of faith to Los Angeles to expand on his career at the advice of fellow esteemed filmmaker Miles Disney where he freelanced and found his footing with various companies (mentioned above). Armed with wild creativity, a hyper disciplined work ethic and humorous outlook, Azwan is a multi-faceted artist who has produced a colorful body of work with no intention of slowing down.
