Joanne Louise Sanders developed a passion for theatre, TV and film at an early age, debuting on television as the Johnson and Johnson baby at just 4 years old. Her passion grew in her high school and college years performing in theatre productions playing Shakespeare's much loved characters such as Ophelia, Juliet and Rosaline. Joanne then traveled to London for two years exploring her love of Shakespeare and working at the National Theatre and International Shakespeare Globe Theatre. Her current career highlights include playing feisty AFP officer for the gritty independent film Fooled. Her time with Beyond Productions include playing real life murderess Joy Aylor for Behind Mansion Walls, returning to Deadly Women Series 7 to play the dangerous and volatile, Vickie L Frost and for Deadly Women Series 6 she debuted as wronged mistress Anne Bradley. All will screen on Foxtel's C.I Channel and based on real life events. Her theatre and performance highlights include playing Mistress Shore for Genesian Theatre Company's Richard III, under taking the role of Portia in Shakespeare's Julius Casear as part of the Bell Shakespeare Actor Training Program and starring as Simone Allen in David Williamson's Up For Grabs for Lane Cove Theatre Company. Joanne also performs for Showtime with lovable characters such as Sylvester the Cat, Alice in Wonderland, Alvin and the Chipmunks and Yogi Bear.
