Jada Samira developed a love for the arts at an early age. She began sketching at the age of 5, dancing at the age of 9, and writing at the age of 12. Believing that dance was what she wanted to do with her life, Jada hoped to take dance classes in high school; bummed after finding out dance classes weren't offered at her school, she opted for theatre as her fine art elective. She immediately fell in love with the craft and thought of pursuing it full time. Jada took the role of JoAnn, a mechanic who wants to be seen as more than "one of the guys," in Philip Cate's play "The Secret to Women Is ..." The play was performed at the local One Act competition, where it won third place. Jada put acting on hold for a while to pursue a degree in Political Science with a pre-law concentration at Spelman College. While there, she dabbled a bit in modeling, working with VaNorris Moore, designer of the "Lovetasi Fashions" clothing line. When unfortunate circumstances prevented Jada from continuing her education, she decided to get back into performing. She went on her first film audition for TSC 3: Dawn of the Apocalypse, a web series directed by Jay Welin. From there, she went on to do more projects and is desirous to leave her mark not only in the acting world, but the hearts and minds of generations to come.
