Rizi Timane

Rizi Timane is a female to male transgender actor/singer and licensed psychotherapist of West African Descent; and is presently a naturalized U.S citizen. Rizi has released over 5 musical albums and several singles in the affirming gospel, Inspirational pop and House/Dance Music genres. Rizi is also a LGBTQIA rights advocate who has spoken at numerous avenues worldwide; including at the United Nations (2018), on the need for Trans equality and justice. He has also been certified as a "Transgender and Racial Cultural Diversity" Trainer, by numerous accrediting boards Including the American Physicians board, the American Nursing board and the National Association of Social Workers, amongst others. Rizi is also the founder of the Happy Transgender Center, a provider of Gender Confirming Surgery Grants to the Trans community. In 2019, Rizi was honored by the City of Los Angeles with the Transgender Visibility Award for his Trans community work and advocacy. He resides in Los Angeles, California with his family.
