Growing up in the mountains of New Paltz, and spending my summers on the shore's of Rockaway Beach, the son of two teachers, Evan had the best of both worlds. Father of Evan, being a lifeguard during the summers, made it a natural transition for him, and Evan began making ocean rescues at the age of 16. With his mom's support, his fathers passion for this line of work inspired me to pursue many different ways to help people, including over 20 summers as a surf lifeguard, with many awesome rescues. Evan began acting at an early age, and at around 12 years old, he started auditioning for commercials and TV shows, and his manager soon realized he would need a commitment. Evan's parents decided it wasn't the time. Evan looks back in agreement. After earning his Bachelors degree in psychology, theater minor, Evan landed a fellowship at New York University and got his Master's degree in Educational Theatre. It was during this time that he also applied, and took the test for the NYC Fire Dept. Doing part time work in education, Evan started auditioning again. Having the training, experience, and confidence, he soon started booking lead roles in indie films, getting a few lines on soaps, and making a good impression on teachers, casting directors and agents. Perhaps it was the lack of health benefits, or professional stability, but there was still something telling him it wasn't the right time. Evan is a Co-Producer, Co-Writer of the Story and one of the Lead Actors in a Short Film Titled Forgiving Sandy Glass.
