James Alire

With a background of broad experience in many fields, James Alire brings an eclectic and multi-dimensional approach to film audio. Since graduating top of his class from the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in 2009, James has become an accomplished production and post-production audio engineer with over 70 IMDb credits, with work ranging from short and feature films to TV series and video. In addition to working in the film world, he also ventures into the corporate world by managing several clients in the fields of video, sound, web and marketing. James' company 5J Media was launched in 2009, and in the ensuing years its use of cutting edge technology and reputation for excellence has helped him become one of the most respected providers of film audio mixing, recording and editing services in Arizona. James has won multiple awards for his work in film, including several 'best sound" awards. His projects are frequently mentioned and written about in industry magazines. Recently James has achieved success in screenplay writing as well, winning awards for several short films he co-wrote. His most recent award was for "1st Place Film" at Phoenix Comicon.
