Romane is a writer, producer, director, editor, photographer, and executive. He was born in St. Andrew, Jamaica. Romane spent the early years (up to age 6) of his childhood in Kingston, Jamaica and a brief period (1-2 years) in Queens, New York with his mother before going back to Port Antonio, Portland to live with his relatives. Romane started rapping in Jamaica and would later start a record label called, DollaKing Records. At the age of 16, Romane went back to Queens, New York to live with his mother, and it was there he started his entrepreneurial journey. While attending Newtown High School in Elmhurst, Queens, he would create various niche websites/blogs in his spare time. Topics ranged from technology, finance, sports, etc. A few years later he founded a clothing company "Hustling Magician" and Kreative Genius. Mr. Robb also founded other fashion brands under The Urban Blvd umbrella. Brands such as; RSG - Robb Sports Group, a sportswear brand; KGCC, an eye-wear brand; Sweet Grapes, a female accessories brand; Offensive, a niche apparel brand, and others. During this time, Romane was also heavily involved in the stock market. While reading books like "Buffett: The Making of an American Capitalist," "Liar's Poker," and other financial/business books, he founded SI Holdings (Simplerobb, Inc. Holdings) to manage the excess cash in Simplerobb, INC's business checking account. Romane considers himself a serial entrepreneur who isn't afraid to fail. While managing The Urban Blvd and SI Holdings, he founded various other entities, most notably; Robb Xpress, a courier and printing company. Even though he has publicly stated his dislike for school, more specifically - classrooms, Romane attended BMCC (The Borough of Manhattan Community College) where he attained his associates degree and later he attended Baruch College where he attained his BA. He has, in one or more capacity, written, produced, and directed numerous short films, commercials, and music videos (most are easily accessible online). In 2008 he formed his very own production company, Robb Entertainment, which has now established itself as a prominent media and entertainment company. He lists Irving Thalberg, David Fincher, Richard D. Zanuck, Spike Lee, David O. Selznick, Alfred Hitchcock, Barry Levinson, Martin Scorsese, Lawrence Turman, Quentin Tarantino, Sergio Leone, John Woo, Woody Allen, Wes Craven, the Farrelly brothers, among others as great influences in his work. He lives in New York.
