Jason Mildwurm

Jason Mildwurm grew up in San Ramon, California with his parents, two sisters, and brother-in-law. At an early age, Jason showed interest in various subjects; however, communicating with people has always been his favorite. After overcoming dyslexia, Jason developed a strong interest for screen writing and languages. This interest carried over to UC Davis, where he majored in Communications and Film Studies; as well as minoring in English. At Davis, Jason also spent his time learning Japanese, German, and American Sign-Language. He worked at Haven Falls, and found that he had a great desire to become a Producer. He worked on Julie, Julie, which is a multi-award winning film. This led him to work with Pixar Animations on Hitchhiker. Jason's love of languages impacted him as he pursued his MFA at the Academy of Art University in Motion Picture and Television. Jason is making is name known in the international film scene with two films at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival- Flapjack, and Luminous. He is also working on a documentary being filmed in Taiwan in two languages- Taiwanese and Mandarin. In 2011 Jason founded Midgard Productions, which continues to create quality films.
