Bradley Castillo is an American actor based in Los Angeles, California. Bradley was born in New York and raised in the suburban countryside of Central California. His father, Ruben, was a lawyer and his mother, Leslee, a school teacher. The youngest of four children, he displayed a sharp mind as a child and was naturally inquisitive and curious. Bradley comes from a family with a proud military tradition and he began making plans to join the Marine Corps after high school. He regularly met with recruiters, but ultimately a major shoulder injury forced him to acknowledge that he would not be able to withstand the rigors of boot camp. He was then accepted into UC Davis. Attending college turned out to be one of the happiest and most enlightening experiences of his life. During a meeting with a university guidance counselor, he learned he needed to satisfy an elective requirement in order to graduate. The counselor suggested he commit to taking an acting class. It turned out to be one of the most important events of his life as it awoke something in himself that he had never felt prior. At an early play audition, the director stopped him halfway through his read. Assuming he had embarrassed himself, Bradley immediately apologized and began to head for the door. The director then surprised him by saying, "You're great. We want you to start right away." He was asked to play three different parts in the play. At this juncture, Bradley finally knew what he wanted to do with his life. Acting inspired a passion deep inside himself and it was then that he set out to create a career for himself. After college, Bradley moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. He has continued to simultaneously study and work steadily on stage and screen.
