Sam Sulam is a first-generation, Mexican-American director and photographer. Born and raised in Los Angeles, he now lives and works in New York. In his nonfiction work, he's explored the worlds of deported military veterans in Mexico, underground hip hop in Paris and the cypher scene in NYC. He's conducted interviews with artists such as Quavo and Lil Baby and most recently directed End of Tunnel--a short documentary on Henny Mack's personal trials-which went on to be recognized by Booom TV, Nowness, and in best documentary at Nighthawk Arts Festival. An Alum of University of Southern California and previously an art director at Ogilvy and Mather, Sam now directs commercials, music videos, branded content, and has a special skill for capturing dynamic action with fluid, intimate cinematography. His clients include NBA, Adidas, Reebok, Under Armour and Beats by Dre.
