Selma Alaoui is a French actress based in Belgium. A graduate of the National Institute of Performing Arts in Brussels (INSAS), she began her career performing on stage and directing theater projects in Belgium, France and Switzerland. At the same time, she started acting in films, notably in "Le gamin au vélo" by Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne, twice winners of the Palme d'Or in Cannes. She played one of the main roles in "Une soeur" by Delphine Girard, a multi-awarded film selected for the Oscars in the best short film category. She plays the main role in "Quitter la nuit", the next feature film by the same director. Also a screenwriter, Selma Alaoui co-wrote "Nous ne sombres pas seul·e·s au monde" directed by Bruno Tracq, which will be released soon. We will also discover her performance in the lead role.
