Riccardo Angelini

Riccardo was born in 1981 in South Tyrol, a small province in the north of Italy and grew up bilingual, speaking both Italian and German. After graduating high- school he did an apprenticeship as bricklayer and used to work for about ten years in construction business before he began studying literature and acting as an autodidact. In 2009 he moved to Munich to pursue a professional acting career, to take professional acting lessons and to improve his skills. Soon he got a variety of roles in both German and Italian TV-shows and feature-films and worked with directors such as Gabriele Mainetti, Giacomo Battiato, Leonardo Tiberi, Luca Ribuoli, Bernd Fischerauer etc. He also worked in a "special workshop program" for directors and actors with two-times Oscar-winner Paul Haggis. Besides working in films and theatre he's co-created, produced, directed his own web series "Crimetube SouthTyrol", containing five episodes about 10 minutes. With the named web series he was invited and nominated to international web-series festivals like Miami, Melbourne, Sicily, Global Hollywood, Seoul/ Korea and won the "best thriller award" at Rome Webfest 2018.
