Sergio is a choreographer, movement director, actor and dancer who has appeared in London's West End and all over Europe on stage, television and film productions. He has recently appeared in the West End production of 'Wicked' at the Apollo Victoria Theatre, London. Born in Rome, Italy, Sergio trained locally before receiving the prestigious Rudolf Nureyev Foundation Scholarship securing him a place at the English National Ballet School in London where he graduated in 2007. Sergio spent some time in New York City where he trained at Steps on Broadway with tutors such as Manuel Vignoulle, Richard Pierlon, Chet Walker and Gustavo Zajac after completing the sell-out 2013-14 UK tour of West Side Story as Bernardo u/s and Pepe. Sergio made his West End debut in 2009 as the Alternate Older Billy and Ensemble in 'Billy Elliot the Musical,' which he performed until 2013. During this time he also performed the role of Older Billy at RADA for the Great Ormond Street Hospital charity in the presence of Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber. Previous theatre credits include Derek Deane's 'Swan Lake' with the English National Ballet at the Royal Albert Hall; Kerry Nicholls' 'Cicatrice' at Sadler's Wells; 'Carmen' at the Royal Albert Hall for Raymond Gubbay; Understudy Prince in 'Cinderella' (Theatre Royal, Nottingham) for Paul Elliot and Qdos Entertainment; Soloist roles in 'Amoroso' and 'A Pair of Wings, please?' both by Carolina Constantinou, 'Sirens' by Antonio Colandrea and 'Rhapsody' by Julien Ficely, all for Dancecyprus. Film and Television Credits Include 'Blefuscian Soldier' in Rob Letterman's 'Gulliver's Travels' (20th Century Fox, 2010); Alesha Dixon's 'Let's Get Excited' music video (Atlantic Records UK); Featured backing singer for the guest performance of 'Rhydian Roberts' at the launch of his debut album on the XFactor 2008 (ITV and SyCo Productions); Salsa dancer with Strictly Come Dancing's Camilla Dallerup on GMTV's launch of her 'Dancing Queen Diet' (ITV); Louie Spence's comedy 'Dream Sequence' on Pineapple Dance Studios (Sky 1 HD). Other Credits Include '4 Forties Songs' by Antony Dowson, 'Polovtsian Dances' by Mikhail Fokine (Staged by Christopher Newton), and 'Dreaming of Wonderland' by Nicky Ellis, all at the Britten Theatre, Royal College of Music; 'Adagio' by Antony Dowson, at the Linbury Theatre, Royal Opera House; The Critics Circle National Dance Awards 2006, Sadler's Wells Theatre; Mungojerrie and Rum Tum Tugger in tributes to Cats, Ritchie Walters in A Chorus Line, John the Baptist in Godspell and Tyrone Jackson in Fame for local productions both in Italy and the UK. Alongside his performing career, Sergio is working towards establishing himself as a choreographer and regularly teaches professional Masterclasses and Workshops across Europe. Sergio is represented in the UK by Gielgud Management, AMCK Management, Mark Summers Management and Headnod Talent.
