Tina Hedman was born in Quebec and has lived coast to coast, settling in North Vancouver in 1977. She followed her son into the acting business, starting with commercials and then working on several independent films. One of those films, No Words Came Down, screened at TIFF in 2011 and won Honourable Mention for Best Short Film. She was given an Honourable Mention as Best Actress at VSFF in 2016 for her work on Never Steady Never Still. She has studied at the Actors Foundry for 6 years.
