Jeffrey Whitten is a film & television broadcast educator, mentor, and award-winning producer. Since 2018, Mr. Whitten has taught upper-division TV Studio Production & Directing courses as part of the Broadcast Production Track at California State University, Long Beach, where he trains and mentors students on all aspects of television from pre through post-production. Since 2014, Jeffrey Whitten has worked at the Department of Titan Communications, the on-campus television and radio station at California State University, Fullerton, training the next generation of aspiring content creators and journalists in film, television, and music/sound production. While working full-time as Television Coordinator & Media Specialist at CSUF, and now subsequently as part-time faculty at CSULB, he has gained experience working with a diverse array of students in film and television studio production, pre-production planning, location shooting, multi-camera video editing, closed captioning, and live broadcasting in a hands-on academic environment.
