Meagan Lee Farrell was born on December 12, 1989 in New Haven, Connecticut, to Robin Anzolletti, a veterinary technician, and David Farrell, an electrician. She spent her childhood living a nomadic lifestyle; moving from home to home and frequently changing school systems. Her unique experience in varied social classes provides insight that often informs her work. As an adult she's craved a similar movement and has traveled the world to gain deeper understanding of the cultures. She's done humanitarian work in Sumpango, Guatemala and recently spent time with natives in the Amazonian jungle to experience the tribe's traditional practices. Young Farrell was immersed in the arts early on and had a natural talent. She began studying voice at the age of six , and picked up the violin not long after. Her mother fondly tells the story of how she self taught her first song in the car ride on the way home from purchasing the instrument. Her theater training continued on through theater intensives in London, England in both high school and college. On returning home she auditioned and was cast in a lead role of her college's production of Columbinus. This helped her to gain a nomination for the Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship. The play was revered and had the honor of premiering at the Kennedy Center College Theatre Festival. From there she continued her training at the William Esper Studio in New York City. Since then she has worked on multiple film projects across the country gaining film festival exposure and building valued industry relationships. She's collaborated with Emmy, Cannes Lions, and London International award winning film companies. Meagan is now living in New York City with her American Eskimo Dog, Kira.
