Douglas Maxwell Myer began his filmmaking career in 2004 when he started to make short films in a multimedia class during his sophomore year of high school in his hometown of Westford, Massachusetts. He became interested in finding more job-oriented work in making movies over taking classes then got the opportunity to branch off as a freelance filmmaker for Westford Academy's varsity and junior varsity teams of various sports including Football, Basketball, Hockey, Track, and Lacrosse. During his junior and senior year of high school Doug produced 6 sports films ranging from twenty to forty minutes in length. After high school Myer served as a production assistant for numerous film projects including productions for the History Channel, Sundance Channel, a Cyndi Lauper music video, and a five-hour Frontline documentary called "Kind Hearted Woman" that aired for two nights on PBS in April of 2013. Since July of 2015 Doug has worked as a research assistant for Marketcast where he has taken part in marketing projects for hundreds of Hollywood feature films with clients ranging from Disney, Universal, Marvel Studios, Paramount, Warner Brothers, Sony, 20th Century Fox, MGM, Focus Features, Columbia, and Amazon Studios. Myer is also a filmmaker of independent productions and is an indie author on deviantart.com.
