Jennifer dedicated herself to her high school's Advanced Acting program, competing each week against hundreds. Her work pays off her senior year with a Texas State Championship title in duet acting. Jennifer was selected as one of thirteen to attend California State University, Fullerton's distinguished BFA acting program. Her training gave her opportunities to study intensive acting techniques. In recognition for her performance in "Traces of Utopia," where she originated the role of Marte, a Swedish woman living in South Africa, Jennifer was nominated for The Kennedy Center/American College Theater Festival (KC/ACTF) Scholarship. Comedy is Jennifer's biscuits and gravy. She is thrilled to be trained under comedic geniuses such as Will Hines (Broad-City), Keith Powell (30 Rock), Mel Cowan (Parks and Recreation), Kate Flannery (The Office), and David Razowsky (Second-City). Jennifer has conquered all levels of improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade and is taking their Advanced Study improv courses. Jennifer is a producer for Cicatrice Pictures, LLC with her brother Joshua. Their most recent project, Guest Room (starring Glee's Lauren Potter) was a 2015 SXSW Official Selection as well as a finalist at the 2016 NBCUniversal Short Film Festival. Jennifer is merging her two passions, comedy and disability rights, to create comedic projects with inclusive casting.
