Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Stephanie Walker first discovered her love for writing as a child. Passionate about writing, she studied at Fredrick Douglas Writing Academy for novel writing and later screenwriting. In 2009, running a one-woman operation Ms. Walker self-published her first novel titled, "Another Lesson Learned," a story targeted to young adults about their choices. Next on her hit list, Ms. Walker pursued screenwriting wholeheartedly. Stephanie attended Brooklyn College where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Communications and graduated in 2011. It was there that she developed her passion for filmmaking. Shortly after college she went on to write and produce her first film, entitled, Black Heart, which received four nominations and three awards including Best Guerilla Feature film. Coming off her success with Black Heart on the film festival circuit, Indy film Writer, Producer and Director Stephanie Walker followed up with her second feature "Shadows of Love" receiving two nominations. Since then, Ms. Walker has worked as a creative producer for many advertising agencies. She spends her free time traveling and polishing her screenplays. Ms. Walker's ultimate goal is to become a world-renowned writer and a recipient of an "Academy Award."
