Paulie Settepani

Growing up in Chicago Illinois to father Paul and mother Mary, the 6th of 7 kids. He and his older brother Jack would often gather with friends to box and wrestle in the front yards. This led to a fascination in the pugilistic arts. Tried his hand at karate after his parents deemed boxing too violent, until meeting his idol Chuck Norris and was snubbed when offering his hand for a handshake. His focus lost he became a bit of a troubled youth in the NW suburbs of Lake in the Hills until he again devoted his time and energy to the great sport of boxing. Again he held exhibitions matches in the basement with friends until the age of 18 when he signed up at a local gym in Crystal Lake owned and operated by Jeff Curran. Under the training of renowned fight Doctor Doug Mango, joined the amateur ranks even contending in the Chicago Golden Gloves. His pro debut was 04-09-2011 against Aaron Lucky resulting in a tko win. Unfortunately his 2nd fight against another up and Comer DeWayne Wisdom ended with a knockout when Dewayne caught him against the ropes with a lucky punch. His fight career was sidelined as he started to grow his family, his fans are eager for his return.
