Brent Johnson

Brent Johnson, Los Angeles based Cinematographer and a Bay Area native graduated from the Academy of Art University, San Francisco with a BFA in Cinematography. Jezebel, his first feature film with director Numa Perrier had its world premiere at SXSW 2019, winning best director and best film at the American Black Film Festival and was projected in theaters across the country. Brent lensed additional photography for the Emmy nominated documentary The Gamble House with director Don Hahn. He shot thirty plus episodes for Black & Sexy TV, a dual camera, narrative drama. Brent has also filmed and produced commercials and internal projects for Disney, Lionsgate, Slack, Fiverr, Wish.com, Shopify and many other Fortune 500 companies. Haymaker, his first feature film, will be premiering in NYC Jan 29th 2021 and will be available On Demand. He currently does work for NASA and other Space Agencies collecting high impact data for future missions to the Moon, Mars, Europa, and Titan. Brent is a three time award winning NASA Cinematographer, one of them being the Silver Medal of Achievement for his airborne data collection on the Hayabusa 2 planetary re-entry.
