Raquael Linda Torres graduated from Pasco High School, where she was presented with the opportunity to travel to Scotland and participate in the American High School Theater Festival and perform at the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh. Upon graduating, she began her career in small commercial roles, college and community plays across the state of Washington. She spent some time New Mexico teaching at a local charter High School for at risk youth. Raquael realized quick, that although she loved inspiring the youth and teaching, her destination remained to be Hollywood, CA. She packed up her car and drove across country where she wound up back in Washington. After the winter months had passed and the hometown blues went away, Raquael gathered up her chutzpah and drove 4 hours each way from her hometown to Seattle for any audition she could get her hands on. She juggled auditions, a job and community theater until she landed her first gig with Emerald City Talent. Cast on the spot, in the room, during her call back audition, Raquael would like to give all the credit to her undeniably awesome belch for truly getting her the role! She is known for her role as the crazed Latina Sorority Sister in "21 and over." She had a blast filming throughout and around the campus of the Univ. of WA. GO HUSKIES! With that film credit she felt the confidence and self validation to pursue her dream of moving to Los Angeles. It wasn't long until she was taking on the challenges of Hollywood and rejection of the industry. But with a go-getter mentality, she kept it going. Landing her hot-for-teacher role in the coming of age Indie Film, "Varsity Punks." She's maintained a life and career in Los Angeles.
