Izzy Church studied acting with Maggie Flanigan, Shakespeare from NYU Tisch School of the Arts with Shane-Ann Younts, Improv with Upright Citizen Brigade, and IN Studios. Her student-career began in film production at the School of Visual Arts; however, she graduated Suma Cum Laude from Marymount Manhattan College with a degree in Communication Arts, specializing in writing for film and television. Furthermore, Izzy had a path-breaking stint with Dream Works in the books-to-film department. Her time spent at Dream Works inspired her to adapt her debut novel, Angry Movie Guy, for the Screen. AMG is now in the developmental pool at Aggregate Films. Izzy is collaborating with several film producers to raise capital for various film/TV projects including, AMG, Letters To Ganesh, and BANK. Her time is often split acting & writing original content. Izzy is the author of several books, "Dr. Pookie and the Case of his Missing Thought," and most recently "Little Red & Vandal Wolf: You're in My Hood Now!" Her artwork has been in several galleries, including NYU Kimmel Gallery, Tattinger Gallery, Howl Happening Gallery, and the World Trade Center. Izzy loves the healing arts and has studied a variety of holistic healing practices, and is a certified yoga/martial arts instructor.
