Born and raised in Knoxville, TN Greg spent most of his formative years highly engaged in football, baseball, music and choral performance as well as the Civil Air Patrol where his love of aviation and the military was well cultivated. Greg continued his passion for athletic competition throughout high school, and added the discuss and shot put to the list, where he excelled making All County in the shot, as well as setting the school record which would stand for over 10 years. He departed from any artistic performing at this time, yet kept a strong passion for entertaining and the study of people. His time as a cadet in the C.A.P. afforded him numerous opportunities to travel and to meet many people from various backgrounds, as well as observe, study and catalog their particular habits and customs, furthering developing his life-long "self-study" of people and character. This period also allowed him the opportunity to begin flying, which he planned as a career in the Untied States Marine Corps. After 10 years of combined Active Duty and Reserve service, and degrees in Electronics Technology and Aeronautics, Greg left the Marine Corps to pursue a career as an Airline Pilot. During this transitional period, Greg punctuated a number of positions flying smaller aircraft for many companies, including one he owned, with jobs in the construction field, including Iron-Worker/Welder, Carpenter and Mason. Greg's airline career began on the Boeing 727 with DHL Worldwide Express. He would stay with DHL on the 727 for 11 years until they closed the doors on their airline operations, putting several thousand pilots, mechanics, and other airline personnel on the streets. Not one to rest on his laurels, nor give up, Greg landed another airline position with Kalitta Air, flying the venerable Boeing 747 hauling cargo all over the world. During his time at DHL, Greg rekindled his passion for athletic competition by getting into the Scottish Highland Games. Being that one event of the possible nine was the "Open Stone," nearly identical to the Shot Put, and the fact that his wife is one half Scottish, this seemed an ideal sport for Greg. It was also during this time that Greg was coached and encouraged to get into acting by a co-worker and actor friend, Mike Braun of the movie "US Marshalls. "Ironically, Greg's first widely distributed on-screen performance was in 2007 in the Discovery Channel's "Fantastic Festivals of the World: Scotland," while he was competing in the Highland Games in Lonach Scotland. The entertainment bug bit Greg hard. He had already produced several industrial and training videos in connection to his fitness side business but, he now had a burning desire to be in front of the camera more. Greg seized Mike's advice and began taking numerous acting classes and was selected for representation by the major local talent agency in his hometown, Talent Trek. He began getting work in Voice Over assignments, parts in plays, television productions, and movies, of which he has now done seven. Greg had always been an avid writer. He had had several works published in magazines and trade publications over the years but, now also developed a desire for script writing. Along with his study and development of production and editing, he began to develop and produce some short works, as well as longer term, full length projects. With his background and expertise in all aspects of aviation, along with his experience in the Marine Corps, and study and love of History, Greg also offers his services as "Technical Advisor" in the areas of Aviation and the Military. His attention to detail and in-depth knowledge of the production process, makes him the ideal Technical Advisor in all stages, from script development to post-production.
