Nicole Forbes is a Los Angeles-based actress best known for her role in WYIM: Mirror (2012), a film that raised teens' awareness of the dangers of joining gangs. Nicole is a San Diego native, and was only 6 years old when she started acting in plays, and taking part in dance programs. Fast forward to high school acting classes, and plays in her community and at college, Nicole has become a multi-faceted professional. A member of SAF-AFTRA, Nicole has diverse skills in film, theatre, and voiceover production-all boosted by her training with the Margie Haber Studio, Carolyne Barry, and Kevin Quinn, among others. She's acted in films such as Anacaona Legacy, and The Transcendent; in theatrical productions including the Wizard of Oz, and The Vagina Monologues; and she's also done voiceover work for the Selma Vote Documentary. For Nicole, acting is a liberating experience of self-reflection; the challenges faced encourage growth and development on both a personal, and professional level. With that in mind, Nicole's ultimate goal is to be a movie producer and director. When she isn't acting, you'll find her behind the scenes: screenwriting, directing, and editing films. Outside of her career, Nicole Forbes is an adventurer and extrovert at heart. Traveling, swimming, kick boxing, and yoga excite her!
