Tricia Aguirre is an American actress and singer. She is of English, Irish, Spanish, Italian, Arab and Jewish descent. Tricia was born in New Albany, Indiana, but spent much of her youth in Miami, Florida. The only child of William (a singer and songwriter) and Renee, she first began singing and acting at the age of 6 when she caught the eye of a casting director who was working on a stage production of Aladdin. She was selected out of nearly 400 girls to play an orphaned waif in the show. It was the summer of 1993, and her performance quickly launched her notability as well as her love of acting. Not long long after that she was an interviewed guest on Fox 41 Kids Club. Tricia continued entertaining throughout the 90's, appearing mostly in stage musicals. She took vocal lessons, and studied dance for 6 years. Growing tired of stage work, she decided it was time to make the transition to film. In 2006, at the age of 18, Tricia made the long journey to Los Angeles, where an agent signed her after only two days of being there. It was in Los Angeles where she met and dated actor Yousuf Azami. Tricia is currently living in New York City.
