Ali Abouomar

Over the past 13 years Ali has been an integral part of over 20 films. Multifaceted, he has aided in financing and pitching for films, pilots, and development. Having started out at First Line Entertainment, he has specialized in tightening productions, financing, and distribution. Focusing on quality over quantity, he has had his hand on films that have seen their fair share of wins and nominations from the Golden Globes, Sundance, Tribeca Film Festival, Venice Film Festival, National Board Review, Broadcast Film Critics Association Awards, Screen Actors Guild Awards, Teen Choice Awards, amongst many others. Using this formula had also lead to seeing over $75 million in box office and DVD sales, as well as rentals. Recently, he has worked on two Amazon films, "El Gallo" (as a director), and "Saint Nicholas" (as a producer). Building on this concept and his Middle Eastern heritage he established Xpress Films in 2011, where he is focusing on making films with a conscious, while giving those with talent but no outlet an avenue for their creativity. Ali also co-founded SOCIAL - a multiplatform spectrum of digital content and print magazine. SOCIAL is on the pulse of what is happening in the world, now and in the future. SOCIAL is Channel 2 on the Universe Network.
