January Gessert

January Gessert was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, the only desire that held her attention having a passion for fashion, need for speed and love of music she dove into the entertainment industry. She began her strive to be an artist. January studied dance, drama and music since her childhood. Shortly after high school a strong successful role model in the music world crossed her path. Kelis, a very talented artist herself signed January and formed a new girl band "Groupie" and began recording. All the while she continued her quest to learn the music business. With Kelis as her inspiration January was able to develop into the artist she knew she could become. January is now doing her music solo and is no longer with the band "Groupie", she has been busy creating her new sound in the studio working hard on releasing her new album. Then scandal hit and January found herself front and center in the middle of a tabloid nightmare after a night out with friends. Reggie Bush (being a friend of January for years) went out and stayed at Reggie's place, January left in the morning only to get photographed by Papparazzi and accused of cheating with Reggie and breaking up Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush's relationship. The press, fans of Kim's and even some people in her inner circle started to ridicule her and she became known as a home wrecker. January kept her head up and hired Gloria Allred to schedule a press release to announce to the world that she was not involved with Reggie, in an effort to save her reputation and her future career as an artist. She continues to move forward and stay focused in her music career.
