Jerell Rosales is an Asian-American, Filipino-American, and LGBTQ+ writer/director. His feature-length directorial debut, High School Lover, stars Lana Condor, James Franco, François Arnaud and Paulina Singer premiering on Lifetime/A+E Networks and released by Lionsgate Home Video. He's a Humanitas Prize award-winner for his screenwriting and a Film Independent Project Involve fellow. His latest, The Terrorist, garnered a Jury Award at the 2020 Austin Film Festival. He's passionate about telling dramedy/comedy/dramas about diverse young adults navigating the world by fighting their way through it. Jerell grew up a military brat living in bases around the world, but proudly calls the Inland Empire home. He's a graduate of UCLA's MFA Directing program and is a Professor at the University of Oregon.
