Lizzie Ballinger is an actor, dancer and musician from Melbourne, Australia. She grew up in Brisbane and began performing at the age of five, going on to study a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Acting with Honours) at the Queensland University of Technology as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Education. During her time at Acting school she was awarded the esteemed Babette Stephens Best Emerging Talent Award. She has featured in numerous theatrical productions as well as in film and television. In 2012, whilst working as a lead actor for the physical theatre company Zen Zen Zo, she was nominated for Best Actress and received the Best Emerging Talent Matilda Award for her titular role in Therese Raquin. Lizzie is currently completing Sound Production/Music Performance qualifications and is working on an independent feature film in a lead role, as well as studying Flamenco dance.
