Joëlle Agathe graduated in Production Cinema at the National Institute of Image and Sound (INIS) in 2012. INIS is a private professional training center that offers curriculums in the film industry whose training is based on practice, the understanding of professional realities, teamwork and the development of skills to create and support original movie ideas. Joëlle has been working in production since 2009/10, in both Quebec City and then in Montreal. She started of with production of entertainment and comedians on stage, then quickly realized that her passion belongs to the screens. She has worked as a line producer and production manager for some of the largest broadcasters, agencies and production companies. She has produced more than fifty productions of all kinds - movie, advertisements, commercials, corporate videos, web, media creativity -. over the years. From her prior experiences and new ambitions, she has founded her own production company Aléas Films. A bunch of her short films are currently being shown in several international major film festivals. ** Founded in 2010, the mandate of Aléas Films is to create accessible, inspirational and humane films, related to contemporary and empathic topics. Its main goal is to reach people with meaningful, innovative and entertaining productions.
