Talyn Edelson

Talyn Edelson is a Tennessee-born action actress and stunt performer from Stillwater, OK who currently lives in Los Angeles, CA. Talyn's passion for disruptive subject material and performances spread like wildfire when she was cast as the lead in Bang, Bang, You're Dead at Stillwater High School. The role pushed her to delve deep into the mind of a teenager who, due to bullying, coped with his emotional struggle by taking a gun to school and killing his fellow classmates. Talyn was hooked; she continued to play dangerous characters such as La Paloma, the armed and seductive temptress in Deadwood Dick or a Game of Gold and Agnes, a deranged nun, in Agnes of God. She also participated in musical theatre productions at the Oklahoma Shakespearean Festival and Oklahoma State University before making her move to film. Her obsession with movement drove her to participate in countless sports. Talyn obtained a Second Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do under Mark Hale and won many trophies for her sparring, forms & weapons work. As a young teenager, she was named as a World Champion in her age division for Sparring. Talyn was a cheerleader for five years. She was a UCA (United Cheerleading Association) All-Star in addition to being elected Cheer Captain her last year on the squad before transferring schools and deciding to study other forms of movement. Talyn received an eight year achievement award for her dancing skills in clogging, lyrical, jazz, and contemporary dance styles. Talyn was an officer and athlete on the Oklahoma State Sailing Team and the Oklahoma State Wakeboarding Team. In her spare time she participates in extreme sports such as parkour, rock climbing, snowboarding and wakeboarding. Talyn holds degrees in Theatre Performance and Graphic/Motion Design from Oklahoma State University (Graduate of December 2012). Talyn continues to train and work as an action actress and stunt performer in the entertainment industry.
