Johnzo West is an Indiana born, California based singer, songwriter and guitarist. West has released two full length albums, an EP, numerous singles, and has toured nationally both as a headliner and as support for acts like Dickey Betts of the Allman Brothers Band, Toots and the Maytals, Eric Burdon, Jackie Greene, The Cadillac Three and many others. He is also a co-founder of L.A. psych rock band, Fortress Social Club. West has also collaborated with Miley Cyrus contributing a cover of Bob Dylan's "You're Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go" to Amnesty International's compilation record, "Chimes of Freedom: A Tribute To Bob Dylan". The duo released a music video for "Lonesome" that has been viewed 16 million times and have performed together on The Ellen Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live! and at numerous charity events. Other projects include co-composing the score for the film "Run The Tide", starring Taylor Lautner and Johanna Braddy, and recording a cover of Carl Perkins' "Honey Don't" for the film "Perfect Sisters" starring Abigail Breslin and Georgie Henley. West has also worked as a guitar teacher and live music coach on films such as LOL and the hit Motley Crue biopic "The Dirt."
