Alex Mohajer is an American political commentator, activist, and LGBTQ+ civic leader from Irvine, CA. In 2021, he was elected the first Iranian and first millennial President of the Stonewall Democrats, one of the nation's oldest LGBTQ+ political advocacy organizations. He holds a B.A. from UC Berkeley and a J.D. from Chapman University School of Law. In 2018, he won an Excellence in Journalism Award from the National Association of LGBT Journalists, and in 2020 he won a Truman Award from the Democratic Party of the San Fernando Valley for executive producing the National Vote-at-Home Initiative, which registered 30,000 voters in 16 swing states.
