Dawn Ezelle was born on March 16, 1965 in Chicago, Illinois. As a young girl, Ms Ezelle recalls painful nights wearing wooden braces to realign her legs. At age 5, she found herself enrolled in ballet recommended by her MD. Her talent led into dance recitals, beauty pageants and church plays. At age 7, her parents divorced and eventually remarried. Ms Ezelle lived in a Christian home with her mother, step father and older brother. At 18 she b-lined straight into creative self-expression. Ms Ezelle worked as background in her first movie filming "How U Like Me Now" with Darnell Williams (1992). After graduating from college her Occupational Therapy career path pole-vaulted into several directions. Ms Ezelle owned several corporations within the sports and health care industry. In 1995, she moved to the South Coast of Florida and discovered her true calling in humanitarian services. As a Choreographic Dancer for Cape Christian Fellowship Church (1996-7) Ms Ezelle recalls the rewards of ministering arts to others. Ms Ezelle played role of Mary Madeline in "Resurrection" and set construction for outdoor live event with Cape Christian Fellowship Church (1997). She remembers the challenges faced with tomb constructed within her screened Lanai, transporting tomb to set, set up the stage and costume change for the live event. She recalls "Resurrection" a life touching experience for everyone. Ms Ezelle was Founding Director of W.O.M.E.N. (World Outreach Ministries Educating Nations) and Dawn Ezelle Ministries, where she worked with battered women and pregnant teens (2000-2003). Ms Ezelle traveled with medical team to House of Hope Orphanage in Guatemala then to Israel (2001). Ms Ezelle recalls the journey most inspiration and spiritual awakening during 9-11. With the grace of God, she utilized her occupational therapy skills delivering hope and healing. While hiking the mountains of Guatemala Ms Ezelle journal a life changing message from God she believes is for everyone. Ms Ezelle studied Theology from Christian Leadership University earning BA (2001). Having to re-establish herself she found hope discovering God through prayer and journalism in her book, "Cooking with the Holy Spirit" released (2004). Ms Ezelle shares with honesty and openness how she came to question her religious beliefs and encountered the Holy Spirit that transformed her life. Ms Ezelle discovered the tangible light within her heart that led her beyond terrible circumstances and into a new life of joy, peace, hope, faith, love, self-respect with opportunities for healthy, positive experiences. Today, Ms Ezelle is far beyond the days that inspired her writing. Her journey has a profound effect on her life. In 2005, Ms Ezelle moved to Dallas, Texas where she was offered the opportunity to work on set of "Seasons of Grey" starring Andrew Cheney summer (2009). Steve Camp, Director of Fisher's of Men requested her to write a creative blog on love, she jumped on the chance. Ms Ezelle played interviewee/reporter for the film Finding Hope (2011). Ms Ezelle most touching project tells the story of a baby girl who survives an abortion procedure, and how her survival touches many lives. It wasn't long before Ms Ezelle was seen as various background characters on Dallas TNT seasons 1, 2 & 3 (2012-13). Ms Ezelle had the opportunity to work on Bail Out starring Dennis O'Neil and Terry Kiser (2012). From here she has enjoyed the journey networking & making new friends through films, commercial prints, commercials and T. V. series. In Luminous Journey post-production was about the centenary of Abdu'-Baha in America 1912 (2012 documentary). Ms Ezelle played a train traveler and portrait of wealthy millionaire. Ms Ezelle music vocal was orchestrated with live CD/DVD recordings through Gateway Church worship team and Integrity Music, Inc. as follows: Live CD/DVD, Vocals/Choir, Gateway Church with Integrity Music, Inc. called "Living For You" (2006). Live CD/DVD, Vocals/Choir, Gateway Church with Integrity Music, Inc. called "Wake-up The World"(2008). Live CD/DVD, Vocals/Choir, Gateway Church with Integrity Music, Inc. called "God Be Praised"(2011). In 2012 she joined the choir at Prestonwood Church and participated in Christmas program. Tapping into her talents as entrepreneur, Ms Ezelle is creating several projects that will help people live life again. Ms Ezelle has passion reaches far beyond acting. For many years she has been an active volunteer in various charity organizations that provides funding for physically challenged children and young adults. Ms Ezelle was a supporter, spoke person, Founding Director of Major Sports Fantasies and Sports Unlimited, Inc. working with baseball pros and challenger kids making a difference for someone less fortunate in life. Ms Ezelle had participated in Night of Superstars and a contributor of Special Olympics of Texas. Ms Ezelle goal is to represent roles that send a positive message of inspiration with hope to others. Ms Ezelle finds herself pickier with options brought her way. Ms Ezelle has some incredible opportunities that most people would jump, but didn't resonate with what she would represent. She just wants to feel good about everything that she puts her heart into. That also applies to her interests away from her professional pursuits including following: God, family, creative writing, golf, traveling, weight training, biking, arts, and music. Ms Ezelle is the Founding Director for Inspiring.Today and Author of second book, "My secret Place" and currently publishing a study guide. Ms Ezelle is dedicated to being the best pursuing her gifts and talents helping others achieve a creative successful life.
